With utmost respect, I express my gratitude because I got to know about the existence of photographic evidence of the proclamation that Indonesia is free and independent. Honestly, I've enjoyed the privilege of having my grandfather's photos still displayed and appreciated by many people today. I'm aware that taking those photos wasn't easy; it required unwavering perseverance and determination. I'm writing this because many Indonesians don't understand the significance of these photos.
